EcoPesticides Debuts eShield at TVC Deal Stream Summit

October 6, 2015 by Drader

EPI eShieldALBUQUERQUE, N.M., October 6, 2015 – EcoPesticides International is debutting eShield™, a novel encapsulation technology for biopesticides, at Technology Ventures Corporation’s (TVC) 2015 Deal Stream Summit on October 6 at the Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum.

EcoPesticides has developed its “green” encapsulation technology to support more rapid market adoption of biologic pesticides that protect crops, but do no harm to the environment. Commercial adoption has been hindered due to the fact that biopesticides degrade quickly when exposed to UV light. EcoPesticides’ eShield “shields” biologic pesticides from UV damage, prolonging potency and effectiveness in crop protection.

For 22 years, the Deal Stream Summit has been New Mexico’s venue for showcasing exciting technology-based investment opportunities originating from the U.S. Department of Energy laboratories and other research institutes.

TVC’s Deal Stream Summit has served as a vehicle to facilitate private investment partnerships among emerging technologies within the lab, startups and innovators.  The annual conference is focused on starting, building and financing research-based technology, as well as startups and entrepreneurship from the labs.

TVC accelerates the growth of globally competitive, high-tech companies by bringing together entrepreneurial talent, innovative federal research, dynamic capital investment and relevant community involvement. TVC Deal Stream Summit attendees include venture capitalists, startups, research & development scientists, DOE laboratory technology, tech transfer executives from government and national labs, licensing officers, private equity investors, corporate development and new business development executives, corporate investors, corporate counsel, and spin-out companies.
